Willy sister Lenny is working in hospital administration here at Siloam, the UPH hospital . She'd love to study this in the states at the grad level. She's an UPH graduate. She's 25 , demure and femininely beautiful!
There is a crystal clear koi pond outside the lounge with many hungry koi and one old snapping turtle. We fed them and they literally went crazy swimming and scrambling for their pellets.
Jeanna joined us there for dinner and she and Connie had much in common, as they are both in leadership roles in education.
They have a gorgeous home which they moved into just before we were here last August. Kasmin designed it and it is a mansion but is built so economically and with such thoughtfulness in conservation of energy that it is a marvel. They don't use aircon in this tropical heat, but he has designed it to be very efficient and it remains cool and comfortable year round. They have 4 rooms upstairs and the balcony of each room connects for security in the courtyard section upstairs. Downstairs is a complete guest suite and they use it generously at all times. They have 3 live-in young domestic worker girls who ahve their own quarters attached to the house, and a driver and yard worker or 2.
This is Willy Rasilim's family. His mom, Connie, is Associate Dean of the Teacher's College here at UPH - one amazingly capable lady - very beautiful, energetic and wonderful Christian lady. Her husband Kasmin, is a successful businessman here in Karawaci, and is Director of risk management in Hypermart - Jkts's version of Walmart. Actually he brought Walmart here in the 1990s from AR, but after the riots in 1998, Walmart pulled out of Indo and Hypermarket took it's place. Willy and his sister Lenny are on either side of the picture, and the three younger boys are in the center. They are too cute!

ReplyDeleteIt was one of a whole series that they had - one of them was taken with them all on the roof! So adorable! and the other was taken in their while bath robes after having had a swim - the girls had yelolow frangipanis in their hair.
